DRM Troubleshooter

Ensure the Windows Media DRM Add-on for Internet Explorer is enabled:

Open the add-ons dialog:

• In Internet Explorer 7, select the 'Tools' menu, then 'Manage Add-ons', followed by 'Enable or Disable Add-ons'.
• In Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP Service Pack 2, select the 'Tools' menu, then 'Manage Add-ons'.
• If you are running an older version of Internet Explorer, or an older version of Windows, this option is not available, therefore ensure your Internet security settings are set to the default level.

In the 'Show' drop-down list, select 'Add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer'.

• In the list of add-ons select 'RMGetLicense Class'.
• If 'RMGetLicense class' is not in the add-ons list:
  • Ensure that you have the latest Windows Media Player installed.
  • Install the fix described in the Microsoft Knowledge Base article 888240.
• In the 'Settings' section, select the 'Enable' radio button.
• Click the 'OK' button.
• If you still have problems, ensure your Internet security settings are set to the default level.
