11/12/2007 - HMC INTERACTIVE WORKS WITH BRITISH ENERGY TO DEVELOP A CARBON CALCULATOR FOR BUSINESS

HMC Interactive has recently completed an environmentally conscious kiosk for British Energy. The custom built touch screen lets businesses calculate the carbon footprint created by their current energy provider, and displays how much British Energy could save. It made its debut at the British Energy exhibition stand at The Energy Event 2007 and has since been updated for laptops and the web.

A FTSE 100 company, British Energy Group plc is the UK’s largest producer of electricity and the lowest carbon emitter of the major UK electricity generators. Working with Carbon Global, HMC Interactive has delivered a turn-key solution, handling the design and build of the carbon calculator software and the presentation hardware.
