13/12/2007 - BBC AWARDS RADIO ENCODING SOFTWARE CONTRACT TO TWOFOUR

The BBC is improving its audio webcasting for Radios 1,2,3 and 4, 5 live , 5 live sports extra, 1Xtra, 6 Music, BBC 7 and Asian Network. Twofour's new audio webcasting software will encode Live Audio and Listen Again (streamed and downloads/Podcasts) files for audiences over the internet.

By winning this contract Twofour will be designing and supplying software which will power what is quite possibly the UK's largest encoding farm.

Twofour Digital's Managing Director, Paul Tarplee, comments: 'This project is hugely significant for us.
