Having overhauled the entire ‘online’ operation, this week Twofour launched the Burghley.tv website on schedule for this year’s Autumn Classic of Eventing to be run from Thursday 30 August to Sunday 2 September in the spectacular grounds off Burghley Park, near Stamford in Lincolnshire.

Marketed worldwide, the broadband subscription service offers fans the unique opportunity to follow ‘live’ both the spectacular Cross Country challenge on Saturday 1 September (featuring thirty two ‘Grand National’ size fences designed by Captain Mark Phillips, himself Champion of Burghley in 1973) and the decisive Show Jumping finale in the Main Arena on Sunday 2 September - with ‘Video On Demand’ coverage available for a further week until Monday 10 September.

As a bonus, early subscribers are able to enjoy a seventy five minute highlights show of last year’s Championship

In addition to implementing a fully DRM protected subscription based software system, Twofour has also created a ‘step by step’ help and trouble shooting section to ensure trouble free viewing for Burghley.tv’s subscribers. Additionally, Twofour is also providing Television in Europe with a comprehensive reporting and analysis service for all multicurrency purchases including pounds sterling, euros and American, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand dollars.

Twofour will downlink the pictures and commentary from the ‘on site’ BBC Resources uplink truck into its Plymouth studios for encoding and applying the DRM protection to the ‘Windows Media’ live streaming.
